Introduction
The Vaccine and Infectious Disease
Organization-International Vaccine Centre (VIDO-InterVac), a research institute
at the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Canada, is seeking a number of
postdoctoral fellows to work in the fields of pathogenomics and vaccine
development. VIDO-InterVac is a preeminent research institute with its primary
focus on microbial pathogenesis and vaccine development against both human and
animal pathogens.
Position
Positions may be available in a
number of different areas in the future.
Required
Skills
The successful candidates must have
a PhD or equivalent in an appropriate discipline, will be expected to work in a
team-based research environment and subscribe to VIDO-InterVac’s philosophy of high
quality research of relevance to the end user. All positions have flexible
start dates and are guaranteed for a term of 2-3 years. Candidates must have
obtained their degree within the last 5 years. The source of funding will
determine whether the position is in scope (PSAC) or not.
