The Department of Mathematics conducts research and provides education at undergraduate to graduate level in mathematics, applied mathematics and statistics. The number of employees is 120, including 30 PhD students. The Department has three research programs: analysis and probability, algebra and geometry, applied mathematics and statistics.
Duties: Conduct research in stochastic control theory within the project Stochastic Control with Uncertainty. Teaching and administration can be included, no more than 20 percent.
Requirements: To qualify for an employment as a postdoctor you must have a
PhD degree or a foreign degree equivalent to a PhD degree in mathematics, applied mathematics or statistics. The PhD degree must have been obtained no more than three years prior to the application deadline. The three year period can be extended due to circumstances such as sick leave, parental leave, duties in labour unions, etc.
Documented ability to excellent research in probability theory or stochastic control theory. Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Salary: Individual salary.
